Founded in 1963, Cultural Vistas promotes global understanding and collaboration among individuals and institutions through international exchange experiences.
Alongside our partners across the globe, we can tap into a network of local expertise in the countries where we operate our programs.
Our European Office, Cultural Vistas gGmbH, was opened in 2013 in Berlin, to honor our strong historical roots and various programs in Germany over the preceding decades.
Cultural Vistas employs a diverse and dedicated staff across the United States while maintaining a U.S. Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and a European Office in Berlin, Germany.
We continue to expand our community, built on our history, while innovating for the future!
Cultural Vistas is committed to improving the world by implementing a bold climate action plan, fostering alumni connections, and demonstrating our commitment to inclusive workplaces as signatories of the #WorkingPositively network. We are also recognized by several designations of German and U.S. governmental bodies, such as our designation by the German Federal Employment Agency as an International Exchange Organization, our Apprenticeship Ambassador designation by the U.S. Department of Labor and our designation as a J-1 visa sponsor by the U.S. Department of State.
